Power Testing Engineer



-Job Description

1. Power measurement on motherboard, making use of lab tools and automated test equipment to measure ASIC power
2. Power circuit measurement for unique IP on the ASIC
3. Running different internal or external applications under different OS’s for testing
4. Identify and resolve sources of erroneous data that may arise during testing
5. Attend meetings/conferences periodically with Northern America
6. Provide clear and concise reports of results amongst engineering leaders in the organization

-Requirement

1. College degree with 3+ year or Bachelor degree with 1.5+ year working experience in PC/ASIC company
2. Familiar with x86 microprocessor architecture
3. Familiar with power supply circuit for PC and ASIC
4. Familiar with test equipment such as Oscilliscope, Frequency Analyzer, Electrical DC load, Data acquisition equipment, chamber, etc.
5. Good soldering skill and smart regression skills
6. Good skill set to understand and explore root cause of issues
7. Good team worker and willing to work overtime and under pressure
8. Good at English writing, reading, speaking and listening
9. Good sense of task arrangement for multiple projects and able to complete all in time
10. Hardware design experience is a plus
