Responsibilities:
To Supports lead and contributes to the Quality agenda in the category as well as to the overall business performance in assigned business, as member of the mgmt team in the Category.
*Develop and implement working methods and tools into the business team's daily work as well as within the category. Secure alignment with China and global working methods when applicable.
*Perform SDP Quality Assessments in accordance with SDP Quality Working Method and the company Quality Assessment Procedure, as well as educate co-workers as future SDP-Q assessors.
*Make priorities, understand and convert the China Business Plan, global category plan as well as the China Quality Strategy into action & development plans for the category in China.
*Lead Product Quality competence development within the category to secure short and long term goals.
*Support, and co-operate with the BDM & Manufacturing Specialist in Quality related decisions related to the Business development.
*Be matrix responsible for Technicians in the category.
*Support end educate the category co-workers within the Quality field.
*Lead and set up the PQ agenda for the Category.
*Lead projects within the Category, as well as assigned business.
*Safeguard that the Category works according to the guidelines outlined in TOM.
*Lead, participate and contribute to projects as well as SDP-Quality development activities
Requirements:
*10+ years professional quality experience in MNCs, BS in Mechanical/Metal/Metallurgy/Material engineering/ Machinery or related.
*5+ years as managerial capacity, demonstrated proven leadership skills.
*Proven/documented knowledge/experience of the different production processes and material characteristics and ability to assess and analyze suppliers' quality related working methods.
*Understand the business and suppliers’ operational activities.
*Fluent oral & written English skills.
*Measurements: Customer Experienced Product Quality, Cost of Poor Quality, Quality Alarms, PQR improvements, Claim solving (Time).
*Capabilities/Motivation: Energy and desire to lead business & people, Customer focus, Results & change driven, Ability to motivate & lead through others, Good analytical and strategic ability, Strong communication & networking skills, Good coaching skills.
