Industrial Engineer (Cost Engineer)

Overview:
The Industrial Engineer is a key member of the New Product Development project team. The primary roles of the Industrial Engineer are to perform manufacturing cost analysis and financial justification for New Product Development programs. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in financial analysis of manufacturing systems and be detail oriented.


Responsibilities:

Co-Located with Engineering R&D team and works very closely with manufacturing plants to:
? Perform detailed manufacturing cost analysis and capital expenditure financial justification for New Product Development programs
? Pro-actively contribute recommendations to New Product Development project teams to lower overall manufacturing cost
? Apply LEAN methods to analyze and improve proposed manufacturing process workflows


Qualifications:

? Education: Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
? Experience: minimum of 5 years working experience
? Background: Previous work experience as an Industrial Engineer or Cost Engineer in the electronics or related industry
? Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork spirit
? Excellent Chinese and English communication skill to interact with a cross-functional global team
