职位描述

To establish and define the functional and operational responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant – Accounts Payable

1. Scope:
1.1 This job description will establish and define, but will not be limited to certain functional and operational responsibilities the individual is to effectively accomplish.
1.2 The employee’s job performance shall be measured, in part, against the degree of conformance to the responsibilities established by this job description and the effective accomplishment of those responsibilities.

2. Functional Responsibilities:
2.1 Process bank payments for project company
2.1.1 Check vendor payable invoices for validation and accuracy and match to supporting documents submitted. Check proper approval on expenses according to company policy
2.1.2 Prepare check/TT to process the payment and enter payment and other income into accounting system
2.1.3 Organize and file all invoices and checks to properly maintain an orderly and accurate filing system
2.1.4 Update MRI on daily basis when payment is made

2.2 Process petty cash payments for project company under project accountant’s supervision
2.2.1 Check the accuracy and validation of the submitted payment request with proper approval
2.2.2 Check all bank balance to ensure operating payment
2.2.3 Perform month end petty cash counting under project accountant’s supervision

2.3 Assist on month end cash reconciliation and reporting
2.3.1 Maintain good filing of bank statements
2.3.2 Prepare bank reconciliation on monthly basis
2.3.3 Prepare daily/weekly/monthly cash position reports as requested
2.3.4 Prepare monthly payment list

2.4 Other assignments
2.4.1 Visit tax bureau to process offshore tax filing
2.4.2 Visit various government authorities to assist on project matters
2.4.3 Visit bank to process non-routine bank related matters, including but not limited to foreign currency conversion, bank signatory card update, bank account opening or closing, etc.
2.4.4 Assistant sales center sales proceeds collection
2.4.5 Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by direct supervisor

3. Skills and Experience:
3.1 Must be detail oriented. Reliable, consistently meet deadlines, follow through on all assignments
3.2 Patient, careful, supportive and with strong team work spirit
3.3 Ability to operate computer system
3.4 Must have good Excel skills
3.5 Ability to understand and communicate in written English
