职位描述
Objectives
· Lead Suzhou R&D team in all new products design work. Ensure design output meet the design specifications.
· Transfer the design outputs to production and other departments. Ensure all the departments have the technical support for the new products.
· The product continues improvements and technical support for other departments.
· Collect and record the historical design technology, apply patents.
Responsibilities
· New products design
· Define resource requirements for the new design projects. Ensure the R&D team have the right resource for the work.
· Study and verify the new design specifications with other departments and agree on the product specifications.
· New design IPR impact review. Ensure all the technologies applied in the new designs are legal.
· Assign and track the assignments to the engineers, meet the specification and timelines.
· Review the designs with other departments to make sure the design can be transferred to the production.
· Verify prototype, test and ensure the design meet the product specifications.
· Record the design documents and testing reports.
· Technical support for Compliance team.
· Transfer design output to the production and other departments. Technical support for the production Engineering team and others.
· Product continuous improvement
· Address all ECRs related to Suzhou R&D. Ensure the solutions meet the ECR review team requirements. Test the modifications to meet the products' specifications, check IPR impacts. Record all the design documents.
· Other improvement projects come out of R&D review team.
· Support other departments on the product continues improvements.
· Historical technology records
· Record all the historical technology during daily design working.
· Apply patents for all the design inventions.
· Other Tasks as assigned by the Technical Manager or GM
Measures
· R&D review team satisfaction - as perceived by the Technical Manager and GM - specific metrics TBD
Preferred Experience / Skills / Attributes
· At least a bachelor degree in electro-mechanics or equivalent.
· Successfully developed electro-mechanic products in the past careers.
· Rich knowledge in common IT equipment working theories, experience in the scanner or printer design is preferred.
· More than 2 years' experience in the managing of development team. Good planning skill, logical thinking, innovation ability.
· Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
