Key responsibilities:

1.Oversee the technical support of customers by application support engineers, who typically provide on-site application consulting for Uster equipment and systems.

2.Provide direction and coordinate delivery of pre-and post-sales service and support to existing and/or potential customers;

3.Supervise on-site customer trials for product promotion based on Market Activity Plans.

4.Coordinate support of Application Support Team towards product development, including support in product requirements analysis as well as implementation of beta-tests and field trials;

5.Cooperate with UTCH TT and UTCN TT to manage Knowledge Base by exchanging application case experience and translating such knowhow into applicable external and internal training toolkits (e.g. customer presentations);

6.Develop operational procedures of application support team and define interfaces with TT, Sales, Marketing, Service and other departments by liaison between those departments;

7.Communicate customer feedback to related departments including but not limited to research, manufacturing and sales; and support in monitoring competitive activities;

8.Lead, develop and evaluate Application Support Team.

Basic Requirements:

1.A minimum of five years' experience in related professional field. Experience of leading a technical support team is preferred.

2.Bachelor degree or above in textile engineering

3.Proficient in oral and written English

4.Proficient in MS office; Advanced knowledge of computer hardware & software

5. Rich Knowledge on Uster products and systems

6.Experience in textile processes and technology and quality management in mills

7.Professional knowledge of textile industry and market
