Resposibility:
Ensure the definition of technical solutions in the software field by analyzing the customer's specifications, providing technical specifications, preparing the industrialization with the Manufacturing Service and controlling the feasibility in accordance with the Quality procedures
Ensure the definition, the planning and the follow-up of activities of the software team allocated to the project; the team could be local or remote.
Ensure the development and/or modification of embedded software parts of Mechatronic products by defining in details the technical specifications according to customer's requirements, programming the embedded software and testing it.
Create and maintain software architecture as well as the integration tests for mechatronics products when necessary.
Guarantee the technical assistance for the embedded software products by providing technical support to the technical manager for presentation to the customer, participating into all project reviews and advising suppliers, subcontractors, development and manufacturing departments about embedded software related technical issues.
Guarantee the quality level of the embedded software parts developed by participating to the validation tests, considering all the needed corrective actions, setting quality goals for suppliers and subcontractors according to the customer's and Delphi Quality requirements and controlling the quality level of the parts provided by the suppliers.
Make sure that each single requirement from internal and external customers have been discussed and agreed
Conduct benchmarking on Mechanical technologies and develop advanced projects with current technologies
Participate to international product development teams (Europe, India, USA)

Requirements:
Bachelor or above degree in Software Engineering
5 to 10 years' experience in embedded software design
Competency in working with others
Experience in automotive or consumer mechanical product design
Excellent knowledge of embedded software technics (C language and 16 bits micro controllers)
Knowledge in ISO26262 processes required
Strong design analytical skills
Comprehensive technical English reading/writing and verbal communication skills are required
Team and customer oriented work
