JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Sales & Marketing Director((Roadside&medcial Insurance))

Reports To: CEO,China(Foreigner)

Based in: Beijing/Suzhou, China
Job Purpose:
To develop and deliver the sales and marketing strategy, including business development/generating new business and delivering the target business development and sales budgets for the year. Responsible for providing support to the CEO on general management issues.
Position Responsibilities:

1. Business Development
? Research the markets in the given coverage area and monitor key trends so as to identify new vertical markets in the responsible segment to promote the entire range of company’s services and form the basis for new products/services.
? Analyze and map the size of new business opportunities in the short to medium term for planning purposes.
? Develop an aggressive sales strategy and action plan to achieve budgeted monthly and annual sales and business targets for new business as well as cross selling the range of services to existing customers.
? Develop Key Account Management Plans for key clients.
? Develop & maintain the company’s brand in china market to life & non-life insurers, automobile companies, top oil companies, travel management entities, airlines and many large & ultra-large corporations.

2. New Sales Achievement
? Develop new customer prospecting plans which focuses on the tactical aspects of acquiring new prospects and closing sales in line with and to exceed budgeted sales targets.
? Proactively sell to identified key targets and develop a viable pipeline of new business with confidence rating >80% for the given Fiscal Year.
? Work to close new accounts in line with budget and related objectives.
? Direct account management responsibility over specific customers in the industry and manage post-sales administration and renewal activity by empowering sales support staff to assist in managing this process. Account Management & General Responsibilities
? Provide top-level account management of existing clients by adopting a consultative sales approach and leveraging off the opportunity to up sell and cross-sell the range of services.
? Focus on building strong business relationship to assist in increasing the yield per client through aggressive relationship marketing.
? Meet accounts receivables targets and ensure that all accounts pay promptly and within agreed credit terms with zero bad debt accounts.
? Provide weekly and monthly sales activities reports in line with Local, Region and Global requirements.
? Responsible for implementation and outcome of marketing promotions activity relevant to the new business market by working via marketing & sales support team.
? Achieve other marketing and personal objectives set annually with the China CEO.
? Participate in and support general marketing promotion activities in the department.
? Provide accurate and timely forecasting and reporting including maintaining an up to date database in line with Regional & Global standards.
? Ensure there is regular face-to-face contact with all identified customers.

3. Marketing
? End to end management of all the marketing, promotion & PR activities.
? Ensure correct representation of the company’s brand in China market.
? Manage company’s China website.
? Manage & represent communication for/from China.

4. General Management support
? Deputize for the CEO in his absence
? Work with the CEO on creation of the budgets and strategic plan
? Provide support on Finance, HR or operational issues as required

Education & Experience
? Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Management/Marketing, preferred Master Degree.
? Minimum of 15 years marketing experience, of which at least 5-8 years should be at management level.
? Training and experience in sales techniques
? Experience in using sales IT systems (Sales Force)
Travel requirement: 60%
