Application support for the Mechanical Design Environment
· Support and train end-users with regards to mechanical development tools.
· Development, improvement and deployment of design rules applicable to the Mechanical Design Environment
· Enable collaborative engineering with methods and tools
· Contribute to the library of CAD models of models of standard components
· Participate in User Meetings: reporting on progress w.r.t. problem and change management, discussing solutions
· Lead and execute small projects

Other significant organizational Context
The TA department at Suzhou provides solutions and support to a large number of end users in the area of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and software engineering. The TA department at Suzhou will be part of a global CG-TA organisation.
The CG-TA organisation is responsible for the delivery of services to all major R&D engineering disciplines, Software, Mechanics and Electronics, for the functional areas of applications, libraries, archives and their environments, i.e. the “toolkit of the engineers”. The customers (+/- 2600 currently) are all the PH BIU’s development departments including their worldwide interfaces with non engineering PH disciplines and non PH collaboration partners. The current CG-TA consists of ten departments located in Bangalore, Best, Bothell, Cleveland, Hamburg, Haifa, San Jose, Suzhou and Eindhoven, operationally reporting to site business R&D managers and on PH level to the Global Development Management.

Qualifications/ Capabilities:
· Bachelor/Master degree in mechanical engineering.
At least 5 years background in mechanical engineering, understands the way of working within mechanical development departments
Extensive experience using the Mechanical Engineering Applications, i.e. Pro/ENGINEER, NX, and the Product Data Management Applications, i.e. Pro/INTRALINK, Windchill PDMlink Teamcenter
Working experience in a development and/or service organization for professional industrial products
Familiar with IT knowledge, network, OS, servers
You have a customer focus and a drive for quality and reliability
· Language skills: Chinese and English, in speech and writing
