Job Description:

A. Finance management for International Business School Suzhou at XJTLU 35%

1. Provide data and justification of resource allocation for AACSB accreditation

2. Cost monitoring and price courses, programmes, short seminars, conferences, School events and projects

3. Cost monitoring and price facilities utilisation and develop service level agreement

4. Work with the Dean and programme directors to forecast and calculate breakeven and surplus for new programmes

5. Monitor and approve staff expense, control of School activities

6. Manage the School finances

7. Draw up the School operational budget in consultation with the Dean and the School Manager

B. Academic related expense claim report review 30%

1. Collect the academic related payment request forms and employee expense claim reports

2. Review the claim forms to check the accuracy and completion of the attached documents according to the relevant policies and regulations

3. Communicate with the relevant departments for payment related issue

4. Submit the expense claim reports to SMT for approval

C. Academic budget control and project monitoring 30%

1. Coordinate with academic departments on annual budgeting

2. Monitor academic departments actual expenses versus budget

3. Working with academic departments on budgeting special projects and programmes

4. Recording and monitoring the actual cost of the projects and prepare the analysis reports

D. Miscellaneous 5%

1. Voucher filing

2. Other tasks assigned by Team Leader.

Skills and Knowledge:

1. Ability to liaise with Business leaders, academic teams and Finance at all levels

2. Excellent Microsoft Excel skill and strong financial modeling skill

3. Strong financial professional skills, good at accounting booking

4. Excellent communication (written and spoken) skills in English and Chinese

5. Great sense of responsibility, highly motivated individual, a self-starter

6. Positive attitude, fast learner and multi-tasking, and can work under pressure

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor degree with major in Accounting or Finance

2. 3 years related working experience

3. Experience of costing programmes is an asset
