Own and drive OEM supplier strategy in conjunction with other key leaders. Strategy includes sourcing, supplier development, continuity of supply and risk mitigation.
Identify, develop and maintain relationships with best sources of scope finished products.
Develop, negotiate, and manage OEM Supply Agreements
Responsible for driving KPI’s such as productivity & PPV, DPO, and OTD.
Work with Operating Companies overseas (ie. North America, Europe, etc.) to understand roadmaps and product requirements.
Manage sourcing team to lead global sourcing, product enquiry and price & contract negotiation efforts.
Liaison between engineering, suppliers and markets (customers). Meetings will include face-to-face, teleconferences (including TC’s at night with markets.
Formulate cost reduction programs.
Control processes, costs, profit margins, and purchase price variance (PPV).
Travel through East China (Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Dongguan).
