JOB SUMMARY
· Support Development of Assembly Machine
· Build machine to specification / Build machine in accordance with Bill of Equipment (BoE)
· Ensure Assembly Machine built are capable of producing good quality products efficiently at the lowest possible
cost by the effective use of materials, equipment and manpower
· Commission and Qualify Assembly Machine to meet Acceptance Criteria
· Ensure projects are completed on time with First Article approval and full documentation
· Support Assembly Design Standardization and Modularization
· Participate in the Design and Development of Cell manufacturing



JOB QUALIFICATIONS
1) Academic
· NITEC or NTC 2 certificate
2) Experience
· 3-5 years of working experience with Automated Assembly Machines
· Good knowledge in tool making, tool-steel application/selection and heat treatment process
· Some knowledge in Vision Inspection System, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Pneumatics, sensors,
motors and other motion control devices



3) Skills
· Creative with good initiative
· Good interpersonal skill
· Excellent Problem solving technique
· Good communication skill
4) Physical
· Normal



JOB DUTIES
· Follow-up with project administrator on arrival of commercial and make part
· Perform machine installation, machine assembly, conditioning and commissioning of assembly machine to
meet Machine Acceptance Criteria
· Work closely with Design Engineer on modification and improvement of assembly machine
· Support Design Engineer in trouble-shooting during conditioning stage
· Provide Engineering support during machine buy-off stage
· Conduct training for Operation staffs upon machine commissioning
· Assist Design Engineers in the documentation of the assembly machine in line with Tooling Acceptance
requirement upon project completion
· Support the Development of Assembly Design Standards, Rules and Bill of Equipment (BoE)
· Support the Development of Standard Assembly Process Module
· Support the Introduction of New Assembly Technology or Technique in the Development of Assembly
Equipment
· Apply pollution prevention and design for environment principles in accordance to ISO 14000 environmental
management system in the Design and Development of the Assembly manufacturing process
PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL
· Based on achievement of Annual goals set by Department Head through Career Management System (CMS)
