Position Description:

Asia Engineering Systems is IT and Engineering support organization for internal users. CAD/CAM/CAE support team will be responsible for these system support and consulting services. This individual will be responsible for mainly performing CAE analyses on TE product and becoming a champion promoting the use of CAE tools throughout China. Responsibilities include:

• Acting as an internal "consultant", performing CAE analyses (especially moldflow) for TE engineers and designers.
• Provide internal user training on CAE tools and analysis theory.
• Helping engineers and designers interpret CAE results to improve product designs appropriately.
• Promoting the use of CAE analysis in Asia and educating others on its benefits.
• Developing/managing implementations and user training plans in commercial and TE internal CAE tools.
• Performing front-line end-user support in using the CAE tools.
• Active involvement in global CAE implementation projects and global working groups.

Position Qualifications/Competencies - Required

Required:

• Minimum 3 years experience in the use of commercial CAE tools, especially Moldflow.
• Understanding the basic theory, benefits, and limitations of CAE tools and finite element analysis (especially in plastic injection molding).
• Working experience with Pro/ENGINEER
• Highly effective communicator and technical writer, both English and Chinese.
• Strong project and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel to other locations in China.

Preferred:

• Experience with commercial CAE tools such as CFdesign, LS-Dyna and Ansys.
• Working experiences as Product Design or Tooling Design of Electronic Components.

Required Education Level:

• Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent level.
