Role Summary/Purpose
The Drilling & Surface (DS) Product Line Leader oversees, guides, and manages DS product strategy within China. In this role you will direct lead and own Downhole Technology business growth in China, integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the DS organization, manage complex issues within functional areas area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business growth of the China region.

Essential Responsibilities
• Oversee, guide, and manage the Downhole Technology Business within China and provide front line leadership and strategy in the safety, marketing, and growth in the region. • Manage and support the job planning of operations across Sales, Commercial, and Services teams in-line with company policies, procedures and systems, statutory regulations and good industry practices in Downhole Technology business • Utilize the existing infrastructure to leverage into new markets and establish efficiencies in utilization, cost control, and improved business relationships with the diverse client base in this country for Downhole Technology business • Gather and provide assessment of DS products in the China market. Provide leadership for individual product win-strategies including pricing, delivery, and commercial terms • Provide direction to DS China Sales and Commercial Operations teams to improve business relationships with clients in this country, in-line with company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations. • Lead marketing efforts of assigned products and manage the market development of proposed programs • Provide strategic inorganic growth leadership for assigned business segments, driving critical Business Development (BD) initiatives, mergers & acquisitions, strategic partnerships, alliances • Interface with the country / operations managers to expand of services revenue growth for DS. • Utilize existing infrastructure to grow in new markets and establish efficiencies in utilization and cost control of DS functional resources.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or above• 10+ years experiences with Drilling and Production equipment in China• 8+ years previous experience in a supervisory role over Operations, Sales, or Product Management in Multinational company• Must have good commercial awareness, must be able to anticipate customer needs and be a key player in developing relationships• Proven communication skills at all levels in English and Chinese• Ability to travel up to 40%
