Job Mission:

The PR Manager of WSE contributes to the brand and business by being responsible for the planning, execution and co-ordination of PR/CSR programs and news agenda for his / her responsible region. He or She will be playing a leading role on both corporate communications, consumer PR, and CSR activities in the region. He or she will need to work closely with national & regional cross functional teams, provide leadership and engaging partnership to Agencies, always demonstrating company values and delivering corporate goals.

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day PR

Assist PR Director to develop a professional PR strategy for WSE, focusing on the East

Help to ensure WSE has the No.1 position in terms of positive share of voice both online and offline

Help to promote WSE’s assets including unique learning methodology, quality (ISO), relationships (Harvard, HMM, Pearson, FT, Penguin), educational technology (CWSE, SSDS), products (Flex and PE, VIP) and its people

Help to organize and deliver targeted PR activities to support achievement of overall objective

Work together with Marketing, Service, Operations and HR to communicate internally and externally the brand idea i.e. success

Deliver crisis/issue management trainings for center staff on regular basis

Handle crisis and issues with the aim of minimizing negative impacts on WSE operations

Handle and assess incoming PR enquiries and dealing with accordingly

Develop and maintain relationships with key journalists

Pitch feature concepts and ideas to key press

Develop and lead WSE’s social responsibility program

Undertake other ad-hoc marketing and PR opportunities as they arise

Communicate, manage and evaluate PR agencies

Write press release and other ad-hoc copywriting as needed

Report directly to PR Director

Requirements:
1. Excellent communications skills and cross functional working ability, while experience with PR agency, international and / or local media as journalist is a great plus.

2. Solid relationship with existing media contacts and KOLs at national & regional markets.

3. Editorial sense as content/story developer

4. Provide leadership by setting goals for his / her work groups, modeling professional planning and execution skills in PR/CSR expertise, and effectively measuring results.

5. Customer focus, result driven, proactive attitude and not fear of fast-pace growth.

6. Develop a positive, respectful, productive and professional work environment for his / her related work groups.

7. Courage in dealing with ambiguity, with strong will for problem solving, creativity and goal achievement.

8. Responsive to internal customers' requests and continuously develops competences for both self and others for the future.
