As Electrical Inspector within the Global FLSmidth organisation, you will take part in the Inspection and Expediting of Electrical equipment, used for the Cement and Minerals Industry.

Basic function:

This position is responsible for Inspection and Expediting of equipment manufactured at a given supplier in the Peoples Republic of China. The person will be responsible for the inspection according to our standards and requirements as well as reporting of the status to the corresponding personnel, within our Global organization.

While reporting to the Electrical team leader, the position is very independent and provides great opportunities for development and for building up competencies within manufacturing, production planning and quality control. You will be part of a world leading international engineering company acknowledged for supplying state of the art equipment with a high quality standard.

Qualifications

？ University degree desirable

？ Speak and write English fluently (good technical communication skills)

？ Electrical technical background

？ Read and interpret technical drawings (incl. electrical wiring diagrams)

？ Experience with some Process equipment is a must

？ Preferably experience with some or all of the following;

？ LV and MV switchgear

？ Transformers

？ Motors

？ Local Control Panels including PLC, touch screen HMI

？ PLC programming.

？ Process instrumentation.

？ Skilled user of computers.

？ Travel is required for long/short terms

Responsibilities

？ Inspection of Electrical equipment according to experience (resent or through training)

？ Work with vendors to improve product quality and supervise production progress.

？ Follow up on production planning with vendors.

？ Communication with vendors and the responsible personnel in our global organization, this includes regular report writing in English.
