职位描述
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Manage a team of 4 staff and above.
2) Responsible for ensuring those commitments to clients are followed up in a timely manner, that the clients are satisfied and to continually engage with clients.
3) Provide excellent customer service ensuring clients receive prompt responses to requests and queries.
4) Develop an in depth knowledge of existing and potential clients, their industry and key contacts.
5) Responsible for overall client servicing of the group and accountable for any jobs lost due to controllable reasons, e.g. poor client service.
6) Perform high-level review and provide value-add to the work to be submitted to clients.
7) Maintain good client relationship with a KPI of meeting a minimum of 2 key clients a month, in order to assess customer satisfaction for possible improvements and identify possible expansion of services.
8) Review fee and propose fee increase where appropriate.
9) Meet prospective clients and prepare fee proposals, including follow-through until the job is accepted or rejected.
10) Proactive in business development and marketing and coordinating with the Marketing Director to carry out marketing plans for the department.
11) Oversee the daily operations of the respective groups and ensure all communications with clients are supported by e-mails, outlining agreed action steps, responsibilities and deadlines.
12) Perform variance analysis on the financial performances / payroll movements of the clients.
13) Participate in the preparation of budgets and monthly forecasts for respective group and comparison with previous budget/forecasts.
14) Oversee credit control and prompt collection of debts for respective portfolio of clients. Work with Finance to follow up on outstanding and doubtful debts.
15) Ensure prompt Billing and be responsible for WIP. Perform finalization of WIP cost and be prepared to be answerable for write-offs.
16) Liaise with the bankers on banking facilities and related matters.
17) Undertake assignments of CFO2SME or Forensic accounting or consultancy work or training seminars or consolidation or any special assignments of at least $50K to $100K a year.
18) Formulate and review accounting processes / policies throughout BBS. Identify and recommend improvements to current policies & procedures, processes and client servicing arrangements in line with current business and regulatory practices.
19) Recommend and assist in the implementation of new or revised accounting and / or payroll systems, procedures and records.
20) Assist the Directors in running the department.
21) Assist Directors in strategic planning and development of business unit’s performance. Develop and implement quality management strategies and plans (including resource, systems, timescales and financials) for BBS annual business plans.
22) Undertake Regional responsibilities, including developing regional businesses.
23) Provide and organize technical and formal training for BBS staff.
24) Invest time into training Assistant Managers / Managers to enable them to carry out their roles effectively and efficiently.
25) Identify a successor / right hand person for succession planning development and invest time in providing leadership training.
26) Proactive in staff recruitment, mentoring, development and career path planning.
27) Provide staff with regular feedback and evaluation.
28) Add value at Managers’ meetings and assist Directors in following up on assigned actionable items in a timely manner.
29) Provide up to date and accurate management reporting and attend Management meetings on an ad-hoc and regular basis.
30) Work with IT on new IT initiatives for innovation and to improve productivity. Oversee projects, e.g. development of software, programs etc.
31) Undertake a new initiative with HR, IT, Business Development, Training or projects involving work improvements every 6 months.
32) Be a team player and provide leave cover for fellow team members.
33) Attend a minimum of 20 hours training a year in both technical and soft skills.
34)Set good examples and behave professionally according to role, rank and responsibilities.
SPECIFIC PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS OR COMPETENCIES:
Skills:
- Excellent client servicing skills and strong problem solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive and in-depth knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards, CPF, GST and relevant tax rules, procedures and guidelines.
- Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel essential) and good knowledge of Word, Accounting and Payroll Software.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Abilities:
- Ability to spot opportunities, anticipate and provide input in strategic business planning.
- Ability to build team rapport with a willingness to share knowledge.
- Ability to mentor and lead a team.
- Able to identify problems and issues and apply problem solving skills to provide solutions.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 8- 10 years relevant and related working experience.
QUALIFICATION:
- Minimum: Bachelor Degree
- Holder of accounting professional qualification (中级会计师), international accounting related qualifications, such as ACCA / CMA /AICPA is an advantage.
