Purpose and Summery of position:

2 This individual will have a close working relationship with theMarketing and Sales development personnel as well as with engineers at key customer accounts to provide support for existing business and new development programs.

2 The individual will support customers with specific applications by providing design, material, and tooling recommendations. The individual must demonstrate proficiency in CAE, have the ability to read part prints, and to write reports to document their work. The individual will also give design seminars and/or presentations to customers; be committed to continuous improvement and obtaining results.

2 This individual must be experienced with Ansys workbench, can perform mechnical analysis and give suggestions based on calculation results.

Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

2 Ability to perform FEA structural analysis and engineering calculations

2 Familiar with basic tooling for injection molded parts

2 Experienced in using ANSYS workbench

2 Familiar with engineering plastic properties

2 Ability to use LS-Dyna will be the advantage

2 Ability to use the MOLDFLOW will be the advantage

2 Ability to use SOLIDWORKS will be the advantage

2 Familiar with Gear design and optimization

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

2 Minimum of 5 years experience in CAE

2 MS in Mechanical or Polymer Engineering or related technical field

2 Experienced in plastic part design

2 Proficient in the English language

2 Proficient in structural analysis with ANSYS workbench

2 Knowledge in engineering and high performance thermoplastics

2 Knowledge of injection molding and tooling using engineering and high performance thermoplastics

2 Familiar with Gear design and calculation

2 Good presentation, verbal, written, interpersonal and negotiation skills

2 Good time management skills and sense of urgency
