Job description:
Major Job Objective
- This position is to lead all internal administrative work in our Network department, coordinate with key providers for day to day interactions and inquiries for claims, direct billing process, etc. This individual is also expected to support Network managers to outreach, negotiate, contract and execute provider contracts and discounts. He or she must have the potential to grow into a professional with Network contracting capabilities in the future and have the desire for more responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead all administration in Network Department
- Conduct the claim pick-up, mailing, review for public hospitals;
- Arrange hospital tours and provide accompaniment services;
- Update direct billing list periodically and manage the internal and external communications, including the Envoy portal;
- Lead the periodic Network newsletter preparation and issuing;
- Assist with the annual part-time agent license filing process;
- Assist with Direct Billing (DB) Network Expansion, Contracting and maintain strong relationship
- Conduct potential network provider research, data mining and cold calls to kick off the DB process;
- Establish DB relationship with local providers in selected markets and negotiate for discounts when applicable under the guidance of China Network Managers;
- Prepare contracts and lead the filing process of both local and global contracts;
- Establish Visit network providers regularly to maintain the stable relationship
- Provide training for network providers including DB workflow, requirements, Cigna Envoy provider portal, etc.
- Communicate with network providers for billing issue, admin issue and provider customer complaints;
- Support Other Operational Areas including Service, Clinical, Sales, Client Management
- Participate special project or initiatives when necessary, representing Network Department


Job requirements:
Experience/ professional qualifications /Skills Required
- College graduate with 1-3 years of experience as department admin. Health insurance/Healthcare/Medical background will be a plus.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin in writing, reading and verbal
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to work in a complex highly matrix environment, including balancing priorities of multiple organizations to deliver results. Dependency on interdepartmental resources that may be “matrixes relationships” to resolve key service issues.
Strong skills in process improvement, multi-tasking and problem solving.
- Effective communication and interaction with other business units. E.g. Service Center, Technology, Sales, Client Management, Global Network Management, Global Health & Wellness.
- Technological competence in Outlook and MS Office proficiency including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
