Program Director
Overview:
Reporting to the Managing Director, we are seeking a seasoned and provenProgram Director to develop and execute the company's strategies in China, throughout Asia, and in conjunction with overall corporate goals and objectives.
Riverwood Solutions provides manufacturing, operations, industrialization, and supply chain consulting as well as managed supply chain services to technology product companies around the world. We have offices located in China, Mexico, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United States with headquarters in Menlo Park, California. This position is located in Shenzhen, China.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in and with both US-based and Asian-based suppliers, EMS, and/or OEMs.
Primary Objective:
*Responsible for all Managed Service Program teams achieving high customer satisfaction and achieving business objectives.
*Collaborate with other senior management to define strategies and specific business objectives.
*Passionately drive operational excellence and execution to provide “6 Star Service” to enable rapid business growth.
*Exemplify, foster, and cultivate Riverwood Culture.
Major Areas of Accountability:
*Develop and communicate vision and clear expectations to each program team member; relating them to corporate vision and strategic direction.
*Manage the successful integration of multi-disciplined team functions to serve the customers at a high level and support the needs from other global Riverwood sites.
*Define and develop program team members’ roles, responsibilities and accountabilities to be consistent with Riverwood needs and core values.
*Develop/implement/refine/improve innovative and effective processes and tools needed for customer focus team execution.
*Recruit, coach, mentor, and retain top-notch team members.
*Ensure team level and individual metrics are clearly defined, and feedback to team members is prompt, complete, and actionable.
*Drive alignment of processes and resources with other core Riverwood businesses.
*Participate in corporate strategic planning; develop and execute related business plans. Drive for effective issue resolution at all levels of the organization to achieve overall and individual profit and loss financial results.
*Build strong customer and supplier relationships and ensure clear alignment of customer expectations and execution as the key managerial customer interface.
*Make regular presentations of status, issues, and initiatives to the Executive Team.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or a related field, MBA is a plus.
Experience Required:
Successful candidates must have 10+ years’ experience in the OEM and EMS industry with emphasis on product development, new product introduction, manufacturing operations, program management, and supply chain management. Also, 5 years supervisory/management level experience required, preferably in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
Suitable experience includes, but is not limited to, the following:
*Managing, leading or supervising cross-functional teams.
*Responsibility for business unit and/or customer account results.
