职位描述
PURPOSE:
The Account Manager serves as the primary business contact to the customers and responsible for implementing business strategies to achieve profitable business relations and identify new revenue opportunities with customers. This position is also responsible for major conflict resolutions, compliance on customer deliverables, and provide excellent customer services to accounts for customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with major customers to promote brand awareness for PACCESS Packaging, and ensure long term margins are maximized and new opportunities are explored.
Develop and maintain a well-coordinated and long term relationship with key decision makers with customer's organization.
Responsible for the sales process, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.
Serve as a liaison between customer and company departments. Work closely with internal managers/teams to ensure a coordinated process from order to delivery. Ensure customer's expectations to be satisfied.
Provide field tours to customers. Extend service after sale in all aspects.
Lead or assist in QBR, conduct review on accounts regularly
Implement new projects and programs with local teams relating to sourcing, logistics, and technical issues. Help finalize business terms with internal and external sides. Ensure customer understands business processes.
Lead role in brand or vendor orientation and summit. Develop marketing presentations and be able to present in local market.
Assist the packaging development team to interface with customers where appropriate. Double-check with customer on graphics, structure, dimension and function. Coordinate internal party and vendors in case of field audit and respective compensation.
Assist finance department for collections in exception cases. Help to expand the volume of business with existing customers through direct sales to their OEMs
Identify and target new business with customers.
Other related duties as assigned.
SCOPE
Work is independent or under general direction. Incumbent is knowledgeable of all aspects of account and project management and looks to improve processes to better serve customer. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle. Receives assignments in objective oriented terms. Work is reviewed in terms of meeting organizational objectives and schedules. Makes recommendations on administrative/operational issues affecting strategically important business unit functions. Frequent internal and external contacts at various management levels concerning projects or operational issues.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
College graduate or above
5-8 years of working experience, with min. 2 years focusing in account management and or sales activities
Profound experience and knowledge in packages and salesWell organized, dedicated, self-motivated and mature
Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills ; Good experience in presentation and public speaking a plus
Good command of both spoken and written English & Mandarin, Cantonese a plus
Well versed in office PC software, especially excel and PowerPoint
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY:
5 year of work experience in the packaging industry
Packaging production knowledge and technical competence
Experience within a multi-national preferred, but not required
