职位描述
Job Description -
(a) Work with Relationship Managers (RMs) to manage loan portfolio composition, quality and if necessary, manage out the weaker credits.
(b) Provide credit risk management perspectives to BU's objectives/goal-setting process to ensure alignment with the Bank's credit strategy.
(c) Jointly with the Business Units define target markets and develop risk acceptance criteria.
(d) Approve / recommend credit propositions, credit reviews and transactions in a timely manner in accordance with the Lending Authority Framework set out in the Credit Policy Manual.
(e) Ensure that new transactions and credit renewals meet OCBC's risk acceptance criteria, credit policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
(f) Jointly with the RMs, ensure that risk grades are fresh and accurately reflect the risk level of the obligor/facility. Approval of OG and FG grading in the CRS system are to be done in a timely manner.
(g) Provide advice, when necessary, to RMs on transaction structuring and on managing deteriorating credits.
(h) Co-ordinate the submission of accurate and timely credit reports.
(i) Participate in marketing calls with the RMs, whenever necessary.
(j) Establish, in conjunction with the RMs, process to monitor the credit risk of outstanding exposures, and review the process from time to time.
(k) Be well versed with the Bank's credit policies and procedures and recommend credit policy changes, as required.
(l) Be effectively bilingual and able to communicate with management and staff at all levels.
Requirements:
l at least 10 years of credit and marketing experience. Candidate should be experienced in pre and post credit approval and account management processes
l familiar with credit policies and practices
l effectively bilingual in English and Chinese
l team player and willing to take on additional responsibilities and work improvement projects
