Primary Objectives 岗位目的

一、Safety

1、 Organize risk assessment and risk management of plant during the phases of engineering, construction, and operation;

2、 Carry out daily SHE checks and enforcement on the site. give consultation service to plants and projects to achieve and maintain effective risk management;

3、 Conduct projects to enhance safety awareness;

4、 Investigate accidents and incidents, communicate results and experience with other sites;

5、 To provide SHE training to all internal staffs, suppliers, visitors and contractors;

6、 Establish site Emergency Response Plan, define responsibilities, organize regular site emergency drill by internal and external resources;

7、 Set up joint Emergency Response Team in cooperation with the local government;

8、 Support the inspection of the technical equipment as well as work places according to national regulations and corporate standards;

9、 Collect and compile safety statistics for Nuplex Changshu site and report the figures;

10、Supervision implementation safety regulations;

11、Ensure compliance with national laws and regulations;

12、Lead Incident Root Cause Analysis and Reporting;

13、Assist in completion of the Safety Standard Management system.

二、Security

1、 Assure effective access control of site;

2、 Set up of necessary procedures and implement training to employee and contractors;

3、 Develop and implement strategies and procedures to protect Nuplex′s physical assets and intellectual property on site in accordance with the corporate regulations and standards;

4、 Control traffic and safe behaviour of employees and visitors on the site.

三、Occupational Health / Industrial Hygiene

1、 Set up procedures to assure effective first aid and medical treatment in the case of injury and work related illness;

2、 Assessment and management of hazards in the workspaces to assure health protection and optimum fitness of the employees;

3、 Organize annual physical-examination;

4、 To carry out 5S auditing and reporting.

四、Environmental Protection

1、 Coordination und supervision of all environmentally relevant processes on site;

2、 Ensure and supervise compliance with national laws and regulations as well as with Nuplex global standards for the protection of air, water, soil and noise;

3、 Set up and implement an economic system for waste discharge.

五、Other

1、 To organize the Regular SHE Committee meetings and Inspection;

2、 Maintain good friendship with local Safety Supervision Bureau, Environmental Protection Bureau, and fire department.

Job Holder Qualifications 岗位任职条件

1、 University degree in chemical / mechanical / electrical / safety engineering.

2、 At least 8 years in a chemical or resins industries;

3、 At least 5 years as a safety role in multinational chemical companies or engineering companies who mainly serve chemical industry.

4、 Profound knowledge about project and process management;

5、 Good knowledge in internal and national regulations;

6、 Professional knowledge and experience in the fields of Safety, Security, Environmental Protection, Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene;

7、 Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;

8、 Good presentation skill.

9、 Evidence of leadership skills;

10、Good communication skill with different levels of staff;

11、Fluent in English is preferred;

12、Working proactively with result oriented and teamwork spirit.
