Main Responsibilities
Reports to Director of NPI and Manufacturing Engineering
Liaison with TPM in the US for NPI activities involving all Final Assembly and “box build” processes.
Lead and manage Final Assembly and “box build” process Engineers in achieving company objectives and assigned tasks.
Provide guidance and training for Subordinates in achieving their set objectives and goals.
Manage assigned Section and/or product range to achieving set KPI and goals.
Provide Guidance and coaching for Contract Manufacturer Process and Manufacturing Engineering.
Develop and implement engineering best practices with and at Contract Manufacturers.
Lead Process and Manufacturing NPI engineering activities during implementation stage.

Details goals and Objectives
Ensure NPI Milestones and activities for Process and Manufacturing Engineering are adhered to and/or exceeded.
Ensure NPI DFM / Jiras / MIL for Process and Manufacturing Engineering are reviewed and closed.
Ensure all ECN related to Process and Manufacturing Engineering are vetted and in order for proper implementation at Contract manufacturer.
Ensure Operations of Process and Manufacturing Engineering for Sustaining products are executed at Contract Manufacturer to Jawbone standards.
Demonstrate by example a commitment to employee involvement, participative management and continuous improvement.
Accelerate product development and R&D initiatives through cross functional and resourceful engineering leadership, communicate with Asian suppliers and external R&D resources effectively.
Develop and implement periodic tracking tools.
Drive implementation of continuous improvement efforts with OEM and other Supplier as needed.
Provide onsite support and coordination to the Aliph R&D Team during NPI builds at OEM.
Assist in the selection and evaluation of new suppliers.

Experience/Qualifications Preferred
Strong analytical, problem solving, attention to detail and process improvement skills.
Extensive Process and Manufacturing Engineering experience, especially with high volume automated and semi-automated Final assembly processes
Experience in consumer product Audio/Acoustic and RF modules testing will be an advantage.
Must be able to take ownership of projects to drive to successful completion.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks, and be willing to receive direction and requests from multiple people.
Ability to work well under pressure to handle crisis situations and balance several tasks simultaneously.
Ability to prioritize, delegate tasks to appropriate staff and perform required follow up.
Must be personable, work well independently, as well as in a team environment and able to motivate other.

Minimum Requirements.
10 years Process and Manufacturing Engineering experience or an equivalent combination of engineering experience in a Consumer Electronic Manufacturing environment.
5 years experience managing Process and Manufacturing Engineering groups in China
University degree with Major in Technical or Engineering background
Proficient in Both English and Putonghua.
Must be willing to travel domestically and Internationally.
Good understanding of statistical evaluation tools and methods (CpK, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
