- For our Industry Sector in SUZHOU,we are looking for a Design Engineer Group Leader 设计工程师主管.

What are my responsibilities?

- Lead and organize the entire team under the department in R&D Div.

- Develop Design Alternatives in teamwork between the internal departments, Business Unit and with R&D colleagues in Germany. Evaluate the alternatives and realize the selected solution.

- Organize the development about new products, the redesign and special customer application for the existing products, Reverse engineering, DTC.

- Responsible for the product performance analysis, technical feasibility study and evaluation

- Create the Feature Specification for new project based on the Requirement from PM

- Compile the related technical documentation and specification for products

- Optimize the existing products in order to improve quality, performance, application, cost

- Take part in analysis, determination, correction and prevention of quality problems of new and existing products

- Support the localization project for local material, production, etc

- Analyze the current market situation in cooperation with SLC Business Unit and colleagues from the R&D/PM Centers in Germany

- Support other internal departments as well as the Business Unit and the sales force in the regions in respect to technical questions and evaluations

- Plan, assign, direct and supervise work, guide and train personnel, control goal achievements, assess, reward, and discipline employees

- Ensure continuity of work in case of absence

- Perform other assigned tasks, not specifically mentioned in the job description

What do I need to qualify for this job?

- Bachelor and above in Electrical engineering and Mechanical engineering

- Experience of at least 1year (master)/3 years (University) in LV switchgear technical fields

- Experience of at least 2 years in research / product development

- Being a leader for more than 2 people over a period of 1 years

- Good products knowledge in Low voltage switchgear and good knowledge in PLM Processes

- Good CAD and Design tools skills

- Good communication skills and team work spirit

- Fluent English communication
