Ensure SLAs of outsourced physical security personnel, hence ensuring physical safety of employees and visitors at Sutherland within the span of control.
Comply with laid down measures to achieve, under supervision of immediate superior; protection, goals, objectives and metrics consistent with corporate strategic plan of Sutherland within specified geographic boundaries.
Implementation of laid down security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security at Sutherland within specified geographic boundaries.
Implementation of measures to protect assets, prevent workplace violence, keeping a track on functionality of all security systems / equipment maintained at Sutherland locations, within span of control.
Establish relationships with local law enforcement and other related government agencies within specified geographical boundaries.
Establish & maintain relationships with other departments at Sutherland within sphere of control.
Investigation of security breaches & compilation of incident reports for the same.
Thorough checks of day to day security functions.
Supervising & tracking the performance of security guards & supervisors.
Tracking material movements within the facility.
Control of key management.
Ensure baggage checks are implemented as per the security standards.
Generation of daily, weekly & monthly reports which covers Physical Security, Emergency Management, E-Security and Access Control.
Build up negotiation techniques & assist Regional / Assistant Manager – Security Management, wherever applicable, in small scale vendor negotiation.
Training outsourced physical security team / in-house subordinates within area of responsibility
Report untoward activities to the respective stakeholders.
Monitoring fire hazards in the facility & ensuring proactive corrective actions are taken for the same.
Ensuring that all fire fighting equipments are in working condition & maintenance for the same is done by vendor (through AMCs) in time.
Act as a back up for other areas



KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (ESSENTIAL)
Must be an intelligent, articulate and persuasive field leader who can serve as an effective supervisor of the outsourced physical security team / in-house security personnel if any and who is able to communicate security-related concepts to an average range of non-technical staff.
Should understand in general, business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation.
Must have general working knowledge of pertinent law and the law enforcement community.
Must have a general understanding of information technology and information security as well.
EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (ESSESNTIAL/DESIRED)
Graduate
At least 3 yrs in security
Working knowledge of computers
