POSITION: Quality Engineer - Sourcing

Primary Responsibilities
The incumbent will be playing a key role in leading the strategic sourcing and category management activities ranging from ODM/OEMs to strategic project support to strategic procurement program implementation in Asia.

Job responsibilities

* Quality check and release of parts at supplier site;
* Organize the day-to-day activities of QA activities and ensure maximum function;
* Ensure KHS GmbH, KHS Corpoplast GmbH quality standards of parts and Machines manufactured in China;
* Continuously monitor the quality performance of suppliers/manufacturer and Initiate counter measures as and when required;
* Travel to inspection site when required;
* Maintain good communication and relationship with other departments;
* Participate in training courses and company activities;
* Establish monthly reports.

Requirements
* Bachelor or college diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent graduate Degree;
* Having manufacturing and/or mechanical automotive background and certain manufacturing know-how will be preferred;
* Experience of minimum 2 years in QA, QC related matters or in a relevant field of technical management in multinational company is preferred;
* Fluent English & Computer skills are required;
* Knowledge of reading technical drawings & application of measuring instruments is essential;
* Must be capable of operating with minimum supervision;
* Service minded;
* Pleasant personality, open and very good interpersonal skill.
