1.Job Summary
This position is in the area of product definition, product design and development.

2.Position Requirement
University Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar field);
Experience in R&D Min. 3 years;
Know well the property of metal and plastic materials and application;
Be familiar with the tool structure of molding ,stamping and die-casting;
Master CATIA V5 system;
Good at English;
Can design product independently;
Experience with automotive lockset, handle system and steering structure design is an advantage;
Knowledge of engineering tools (QFD, FMEA, FEA, DOE.) will be plus;
Advanced knowledge of MS Office;
Hard working and good team player.

3.Job Responsibilities
Communicate with customer and understand requirements
Translate customer requirements into the design criteria and specify product specification
Lead product development and organized the design of DFMEA
Develop solution to meet customer’s requirements and standards
Provide technical inputs to ensure product test and validation plan developed and implemented
Ensure product development activities meet quality, timing and cost targets
Understand and follow product develop tasks and responsibilities
Introduce product knowledge to external and internal customers
Identification the critical characteristics
Design 2D&3D drawing
Create master data and maintain BOM system
Check inputting drawing
Prepare the APQP documents
Manage and executive the ECN
Sample evaluation
Provide the tooling modify information
Solve technical issue

The Company

Established as FAB in 1911, the company started with an initial manufacturing program covering door locks for the building industry, including mortise and furniture locks and associate fittings.

In 1958 the product portfolio was expanded to locks and keys for the automotive industry. Since then the company has gradually become an exclusive supplier of cylinder locks to vehicle manufacturers in former Czechoslovakia, as well as supplying components to OEMs in many other countries.

In 1996 the company joined the Swedish-Finnish ASSA ABLOY Group, allowing it to be member of an established group of companies which specialized in the field of high security door opening solutions. The company’s extensive experience in the development and production of vehicle access components and systems was further enhanced in 2007 by the acquisition of CE Marshall Ltd., the leading U.K. supplier of lock systems for cars and light commercial vehicles.

Following the path of globalization of its customers, the company expanded its global footprint by establishing new plants and local customer support teams in China and Mexico. Growing demand on solutions that provided further improved security and more comfort triggered the company to move on to more sophisticated electronic vehicle access & control solutions, such as remote keyless entry and passive entry/go systems, and respective components.

From Oct. 1st 2016 the company has been under the ownership of the Japanese ALPHA Corporation, one of the leading global automotive industry suppliers in vehicle access and control.
