Major Duties and Responsibility:
主要职责
- Lead and day-to-day manage QC team China. Coach, train and supervise the team members according to Devanlay global requirements.
- Elaborate Procedures related to Quality Management in China.
- Downward NC rate to meet Devanlay requirements.
- Coordinate and settle relationship with third parties to help improve the quality in the Platform like laboratories, testing or audit companies.
- Audit, train and improve the garment, trim and fabric suppliers of the company in China.
- Liberate or block the production or take the final decision related to quality issues when the items do not comply with Devanlay or any Market requirements.
- Receive the claims related to quality problems and propose solutions for immediate correction or improvement.
- Evaluate and measure all new suppliers and recommend separation when failed to improve.
- Design and implement Vendor Summit at a regular basis.
Other tasks assigned by line manager.
Knowledge and skills:
知识技能要求
Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese Mandarin.
Knowledge of garment construction (Knit, Woven and Sweater) is necessary.
Strong leadership skills in working with a team and a group of factories and the ability to coach, develop, motivate and improve performance of the teams.
Solid knowledge of industry QC initiatives.
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
Ability to influence and gain support from cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of garment testing standards and product compliance.
Education:
教育背景要求
University graduate or above.
Experience:
经验要求
Minimum of 10 years working experience in Garment Industry and Quality management
Experience of having worked with factory environment will be an advantage
Occasional travel will be required.
