Position Summary:
The Brand Manager is responsible for development and execution of the Brand Business Plan, including the short and long term maximization of sales volume and gross profit contribution.
Responsibilities:
? Develop annual/3 year Brand Business Plan
- Conduct Market Analysis to determine segment size and growth trends
- Conduct Competitive Analysis, including tracking market share data in order to develop products/programs that are responsive to changing market/competitive conditions
- Conduct Brand Analysis to determine impact of historical programs, new products, etc.
- Develop Brand Vision, Financial Objectives (Volume, Gross Profit, Marketing Spending), and Key Growth Strategies (including New Products)
? Conduct End User research in an effort to identify/specify New Product initiatives which successfully address unmet needs.
? Review margin trends in order to make pricing and/or cost reduction recommendations that maximize profitability.
? Develop Marketing (Advertising, Promotion, Packaging, E-Marketing, etc) plans to generate trial of new products and repeat purchases of existing products. Determine target audience, message; set annual budget.
Required Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business, Master's degree preferred.
? Minimum of five (5) years of classic marketing/brand management experience with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Industrial/Durable Goods companies
? Strong blend of analytical, creative problem-solving, and project management skills; ability to effectively prioritize
? Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and motivate cross-functional teams to accomplish business goals and objectives
? Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Product Supply.
? Fluency in English language reading, writing, speaking.
