职位描述

? Major Responsibilities/Activities:

(1) Manage MIS Application Support Team
? Define IT application support process and related KPI.
? Oversee all application help desk activities at the Affiliate level.
? Respond to escalated application help desk issues
? Interact with internal clients to help resolve business application related issues and provide answers in a timely manner.
? Ensure Service Levels on business application support are adequate.


(2) Manage Projects
? Assist Senior MIS Manager to manages/co-ordinates projects and deliver on project deliverables, leading to the successful completion of key IT related projects.
? Key activities include feasibility study, project plan development, schedule development and control, scope management, issue resolution, risk analysis and management, resource management for mid-size IT related projects.
? Understand and apply standard project management methods and tools to ensure project delivery on time, within scope and on budget.
? Communicate and co-ordinate with users, 3rd party solution providers, Area IT resources, HQ project team and Senior MIS Manager on HQ deployed IT Application projects.


(3) Technology Planning
? Act as Solution Architect and co-ordinate all efforts from technology solution design, partner management to customer facing
? Ensure that the designs and subsequent systems are aligned to the commercial objectives and reflect technical best practices
? Stay up to date and abreast of new technologies, methods and techniques to understand how they might be applied to Abbott business
? Provide infrastructure consulting service for business application project on budget preparation and following implementation
? Interface with GIS for various projects related to business application expansion



(4) Data Structure modeling and design
? Support application project manager to analyze technology requirements and propose database architecture design as internal consultant.
? Develop database architectural strategies at the modeling
? Design and implementation stages to address business requirements.?
? Recommend proactive maintenance and operational practices for improving database availability, performance, scalability, maintainability, agility and security ?
? Provide professional advice on solution architecture approaches, deployment considerations, production support measures, and knowledge transfer ?
? Collaborate with Project manager, Application analyst and 3rd party vendor to understand business requirements?


(5) Ensure compliance to Corporate IT Policies and SOX requirement
? Familiarize with Global and local IT Policies especially on software life cycle control, user id/password control, recertification, disaster recovery plan and data security.
? Maintain operational control on IT and SOX compliance during business application implementation and following maintenance.

8.REQUIREMENTS:

? Industry experiences:

(1) 8+ years' experience on IT position of multinational company
(2) 5+ years' experience on business analysis and database architecture design.
(3) 3+ years' experience on IT management position


? Position experiences:
1. Be familiar with IT server environment especially on Windows server 2003 + SQL server 2005 platform.
2. Strong and practical knowledge of application development methodology on Microsoft platform based on B/S and C/S framework.
3. Strong and practical knowledge of data management and database architecture principles and practices.
4. Strong and practical knowledge of database security and audit requirements.
5. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and practical knowledge of database tuning, backup and recovery.
6. Strong experience with business intelligence and data warehousing design principles and industry best practices.
7. Knowledge of dimensional modeling design and principles
8. Strong knowledge basis in various areas like ERP, SCM, CRM, SFA, WMS, workflow and etc.
9. Must have demonstrated project management skills on business application implementation.
10. Management experience on Application helpdesk is required.
11. Experience on BPCS is preferred.
12. Strong finance and supply chain knowledge is perferred.


? Language Skills:
Good English ability on reading, writing and speaking.
