Responsibilities
? Roles and Responsibilities
? Technical contact for supplier in different commodities (plastic, rubber or wire harness)
? Coordination of preventive Q measures and special characteristics (VQP) with project management purchasing.
? Participation in technical discussions if necessary.
? Technical clarification of manufacturability (content-related); High understanding of production process for components.
? Application of defined Q measures with supplier (VQS).
? Follow the (initial) sample test and release (ISIR).
? Analysis of Q problems Category 2+3 claims at supplier plant.
? Ensure information flow (Q alert) between plants and Business Units to all affected plants.
? Following OPL based on audits, technical discussions and Q claims.
? Show potential quality improvements and cost reductions and introduce measures (RPP input).
? Organization of supplier visits to the plant, e.g.: STOP sign meetings.
? Escalation meetings with suppliers.
? Analyze quality data and work out concepts for Q improvements in Sub-assembly/Chemical/Non-metal parts.
? Transfer of findings from claims into process development at the supplier

Qualification Requirement
? Bachelor or Master degree of engineering (mechanical engineering) preferre major in material ?
3-5 years quality related working experience in automotive industry for quality improvement
? Be familiar with quality tools e.g. SPC, FMEA, MSA, APQP, PPAP...
? Be familiar with ISO9000 and ISO/TS 16949
? Team player, self motivated, target oriented
? Fluently English language both written and spoken
? Willingness to frequent travels (in China and possible AP)
