Position: Application Engineer (Smart Grid)

Responsibilities:
#Primarily responsible to run the projects for Smart Grid (IEC 61850, Smart Metering and Industrial IT-Security) in cooperation with the competence centre in Munich and local colleagues;
#Accompany customer visit and operate projects in the field of Smart Grid in accordance with the IEC 61850 standard and international and national IT security standards;
#Independent initiation and management of ambitious testing and consulting projects in the area of smart grids;
#Operate local technical workshops to address regional market requirements;
#Participation in associations and professional events (training courses, seminars, conferences);
Requirements:
#University degree in electrical / information / communication engineering or other appropriate degrees;
#In-depth background knowledge of the energy sector;
#Knowledge of web-based and industrial communication and automation standards (IEC 61850, TCP/IP, remote communication protocols...);
#Sector-specific knowledge of energy engineering, energy management and smart grid;
#Team player with high level of commitment;
#Very good learning aptitude;
#Good analytical skills;
#Very good communication skills;
#Native language Mandarin/Chinese and fluency in written and spoken English;
#Knowing German is a plus.
