Our client is a Fortune 500, they are looking for high-caliber persons to fill the position.
Responsibilities:-
Product Development Collaboration:
- Manage and lead MSKB, India & Canada/ Mexico teams for new product supply chain development.
- Drive design collaboration including co-development and design transfers with suppliers.
- Lead and drive improvements with tooling lead-time reductions to support product development timelines and customer delivery dates.
- Direct and lead supply partner expansion in key product categories to meet Business Unit Growth targets.
- Drive supply chain efficiencies to optimize the supply chain in accordance with strategic guidelines to achieve:
- Lowest total-delivered cost.
- Meet quality standards.
- Ensure sustainability of supply post PPAP.
- Service standards.
Demand and Supply Planning:
- Lead integration of Supply Chain Optimization learnings into NPSC business processes.
- Partner with Planning & Scheduling teams to transition and forecast planning for new product launches.
- Collaborate cross functionally to manage DC forecast allocation, inventory and safety stock plans.
- Develop, maintain and execute demand contingency plans as required.
- Facilitate transition of "New" products to "Core".
Sourcing:
- Manage supplier selection in accordance with critical vendor list (CVL) & approved vendor list (AVL) guidelines and Commodity Strategies.
- Develop risk mitigation plans to ensure supply protection and no service interruption for new product introductions.
- Ensure teams adhere to Supply Chain guidelines relative to critical components, global sourcing supplier spend growth targets, supplier diversification, vendor approved finish capability, and capacity management.
- Ensure timely completion all NPSC product development deliverables.
- Ensure team develops and awards based on lowest TDC scenario.
- Develop tooling and capacity plans to meet launch and post-launch requirements.
- Develop component safety stock plans.
- Manage component and purchased finished good PPAP process.
- Oversee and manage quotations, requisitions and purchase orders as needed.
Requirements:-
- BS degree in Business or Technical degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Typically +5 years of experience in cross-functional product development environments with extensive project management experience.
- Experience managing and leading resources to include: Performance Management, Compensation Planning and Career Development and Planning.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and actions.
- Strategic procurement experience in a multi-plant environment with an international supply base.
- Solid analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (20-25%).
