Purpose of the positionGroup Leader Synthesis CS Shanghai
1.Be a coach to team members
2.Support production by preparative investigations
3.Lead a preparative laboratory working group
4.Lead innovation projects
5.Contribute to innovation projects
6.Coordinate inspections with third parties, outside vendors
Principle accountability
1.Make sure that safety requirements are followed
2.Carry out chemical synthesis for new products
3.Provide analytical results if needed by internal and external cooperation
4.Contribute to innovation with ideas and identify new technology fields for CS
5.Contribute to open innovation
6.Report on a regular basis
7.Customer contacts when appropriate
Requirement
1.Master in organic chemistry or preparative polymer chemistry, minimum 3 years of experience in synthesis, PHD preferred
2.Wide field of interests
3.Independent and target oriented working style
4.Able to take initiatives
5.Good communication skills
6.Team player
7.Fluent in English
8.Able to work across functional and cultural boundaries
