r&D in HP Software Shanghai is a growing organization looking for talented and experienced senior QAs for our leading IT product developments. UNLIKE working in any other outsourcing teams/companies, this unique QA position will have great exposure, ownership, and opportunities to work with, influence, and even lead worldwide teams to develop high-standard, high-quality enterprise software products.

Many of our enterprise software products support platforms of Windows, AIX, Solaris, UNIX and Linux, DB - Oracle, SQL Server and DB2, Application servers - Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic and JBoss etc. HP Software also designs complex, large-scale, multi-threaded server product supporting thousands of concurrent users and running on a variety of platforms. Technologies used include XML, JNI, Web Service, Ajax, JSF, OCI, CLI, HTTP, SSL, SAAJ, REST.

QA engineers shall work closely with Developers and will be involved in all phases of software development, including design, coding, unit-testing and debugging. HP uses "agile" software development methodology.

The position is responsible for the following activities:

? Developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products.
? Developing and executing test plans from complicated End-to-End system level to product specific feature levels.
? Analyzing and writing test standards and procedures.
? Maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
? Analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality and recommending corrective action.
? Consulting and driving R&D development engineers in problem resolution.
? Automate test cases and maintain the automation test framework.
