AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals (formerly Eka Chemicals) is a leading global force in pulp bleaching technologies, paper chemicals, colloidal silica and expandable microspheres. Pulp and Performance Chemicals forms a business unit within AkzoNobel, which is the world's largest paints and coatings company and a major producer of specialty chemicals.

In China, we are the major supplier of paper chemicals, including sizing, retention/drainage and coating, to the pulp and paper industry. Our main office is located in Suzhou with two production sites in Suzhou an Guangzhou. A Purate? production facility was opened at the Suzhou site in September 2009 to produce chlorine dioxide for both the pulp and paper and water treatment industries. Additionally we open a new state of the art silica production facility in Guangzhou during 2011 to support our customers in both the paper and non-paper applications within China.

Position: Sales Representative
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager China Responsibilities:
-Expand and grow business at existing account.;
-Develop new accounts in various industries;
-Manage all sales transaction, and account receivables;
-Issue monthly report and other marketing reports;
-Look over industry value chain and develop partnership with distributors and strategic partners in China.
-Manage existing customer base, and expand and grow sales revenue by maintaining relationship with customers and improving customers' satisfaction.
-Extend customer base in multiple various applications to grow sales volume, market share and new business segments according to the marketing development plans and product orientation.
-Maintain and develop industry value chain, and set up good partnership with distributors and strategic partners in China.
-Screen market and distributors for new business opportunities.
-Marketing and technical training to the customers and distributors.
-Provide internal sales training to the local sales force in China.
-Manage the local sales force by supervising the sales activities.
-Provide technical support together with technician and organize international technical communications.
-Handle quotations, negotiation and the completeness of agreements and sales contracts according to the pricing, product, volume, packing, delivery term, payment term, shipment term, lead time, ETA, etc. set by cooperation with related departments.
-Set up sales budget and target, and update the sales status by providing visit report, monthly sales report, annual sales report and industry marketing report.
-Manage sales expenses carefully and efficiently.
-Attend professional exhibition and seminar for more business opportunities and brand promotion.
-Timely check up customer satisfaction or complaint regarding the product quality issue, and prepare 8D report to describe the problem and establish a team to work on the root cause and give back a permanent corrective action to prevent recurrence.
-Provide the input of payment term and credit limit for credit control center to make the evaluation.
-Track and push customers to have on-time payment. Requirements:
-Bachelor Degree in chemistry from a well recongnized university.
-Above 3 years proven sales and key account management experience in coating, electronics, construction, foundry, battery industries;
-Experienced at distribution channel management;
-Team Player, independent, working within minimal supervision to achieve set goals; -Strong leadership, planning&organization, problem solving & decision-making skills;
-Fluent spoken and written English;
-Good computer and business presentation skills. Additional Information:
