Your challenge
· To realize complex and E2E integral Manufacturing Transformation projects
· Scope: production line transfers, factory restructuring, production outsourcing, capacity extension and optimization, etc…

Your Responsibilities:
· Leading multifunctional project teams to realize the agreed goals, planning and budget of the assigned projects
o Define in interaction with the project owner the scope, time plan and the deliverables of the project
o Specify the required resources and assign project team members in dialogue with the concerned resource managers
o Organize and manage the implementation of the project deliverables within budget and time agreed
o Define the project risks and develop scenarios to overcome these risks
o Manages taking milestones in time according to the agreed checklist and deliverables
o Report project progress (scope, planning, budget, issues) of the assigned projects to the project owner and steering committee
o Responsible for the final result of the projects
o Responsible for interface with other disciplines (procurement, supply chain, R&D, quality, …)
o Makes an evaluation report at the end of a project
· Build and maintain project management capabilities at Malu Shanghai (PETEC) plant
o Monitor & review the quality of all projects
o Coach and train junior and future industrial project leaders. Coach other project leaders to realize their project goals within plan and budget.
o Keep a performance appraisal at the end of the project with the key project team members. Reports the performance of key project team members to their hierarchical boss as input for the annual appraisal
Your team
· You are situated in Shanghai Malu (the job involves 30% travelling). You are reporting to Head of BG LS&E Business Transformation and Head of Industrial Operations for HID & Components. Your daily contacts are mostly within the Malu Shanghai plant and relevant suppliers.
· You are leading 5-10 project team members per project (without hierarchical reporting line).

We are looking for
· Strong manufacturing capabilities with specific experience and a proven track record in manufacturing management
· People management experience and influencing skills.
· Change manager.
· Perseverance and a strong drive to achieve excellent results
· Project Management Skills and strong analytical skill
· Enjoys working in a complex stakeholder landscape on a senior level with a lot of interactions
· Perfect communication skills. English and mandarin.

Corporate Grade 70+
· Min. 10 years of (inter)national experience in manufacturing including manufacturing management functions. Preferably experience in lighting, electronics, automotive or similar industries: automated production equipment, high process control, high volume high mix diversity.
· Min. 5 years’ experience in program or project management with proof of sustainable result.
· Preferable experience in LEAN and/or (master) black belt methodology
· University degree
· Growth potential (<2yrs) to step into Operations Leadership role (Operations Director or Plant Director), grade 80.
