1 Goal of the position
The Field Marketing Supervisor (FMS) ensures that each individual area can fully exploit the sales and profit potential of the Business Innovation Units’ (BIU) products. The primary responsibility of the FMS is to understand and anticipate customers’ needs and strategically position products to generate leads for the field (M2O). He enables the BIUs to act on market specific customer insights and competitor strategies as inputs into products’ roadmap.
2 Areas of responsibility
1. Collaborate across market group and BIUs to leverage market solutions
2. Generate leads in new and existing markets
3. Identify new customer leads, based on customer scan, competitive intelligence, and understanding of market needs
4. Conduct lead generation and management analytics to continuously improve sources of lead generation (e.g., prioritize trade shows based on lead success rate)
5. Shape markets - Influence local regulatory bodies to issue standards or build healthcare infrastructure favorable to PH
6. Manage and drive campaigns in respective areas to promote products and solutions
7. Design campaigns across lifecycle of products (NPI, end of life) to drive profitable growth
8. Tailor messaging to local markets
9. Ensure compliance of local marketing materials with regulatory requirements (Q&R review)
10. Gather local market and customer insights, and feed information back to BIU/BG Marketing
11. Understand BIU marketing customer segmentation and value proposition, provide feedback on how to tailor to meet specific market needs
12. Identify and synthesize local market trends, based on customer and stakeholder interactions; share synthesis with BIU/BG Marketing
13. Build strategies for beating competitors—profitably—with effective use of competitive intelligence, based on customer and event interactions; Share synthesis with BIU/BG marketing
14. Support BIU Product Managers in the launch/introduction of new solutions and enhancements developed by the BG to the local market - Define and implement launch strategy for local market including any required localization of positioning, messaging to priority target segments, new segment development initiatives (e.g., customer education seminars, customer presentations, local development and management of luminaries and clinical advocates, development and management of reference sites
15. Manage local market events to deliver high ROI
16. Select tradeshows and target messaging
17. Support sales and BIU marketing during key training events
18. Identify, and manage relationships with local stakeholders
19. Identify and manage luminary/reference accounts, in collaboration with BIU marketing and sales; Coordinate luminary presentations
20. Manage user groups, support BIU for Beta/field test support
21. Help identify and manage relationships with local KOLs, societies, alliances, sponsors, advisory boards, in collaboration with BIU marketing and sales
22. Drive BMC business planning, in coordination with finance
23. Support Product Managers (PMs) in setting and adjusting local prices to maximize value capture
24. Provide local market intelligence to assist Product managers in setting price corridors and guidance for local discounting
25. Conduct price realization analytics and pro-actively report and escalate issues in value capture (i.e., excessive discount due to competitive threat) to the PMs and the Markets for immediate action Support of the Order Acquisition Process by developing the right sales tools for an effective sales process
26. Increase the expertise and motivation in the Key markets by providing the right information over products, competition and sales tactics. Contribute to the development of the marketing strategy & tactics with information from the field.
27. Take lead in collect market information and maintain and update competitive overview. Contribute market insight/customer insight to marketing manager to develop the product roadmaps
3 Organization schedule
Position holder is reporting to the Field Marketing leader.
Qualifications:
- 5 -10 years experience of product marketing of critical care products in multi-national healthcare company.
- Experience in B2B business for out hospital market will be a plus.
- Education background: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Excellent communication skill & interpersonal skill
- Excellent presentation skill
- Fluent English writing and speaking
- Positive attitude, High level drive and commitment to archive the goal
- Willing to travel internationally when needed
