1．PURPOSE目的

The main objective for a Quality Project Leader is to assure the quality of new products. For this purpose, the Quality Project leader takes integral ownership of product quality and the quality management processes in development projects, using Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) as the main methodology.

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES主要工作职责

- For Philips own developed product project, be the product development quality leader in new production development project. Main internal contact persons are integral project manager and technical project leader. Main responsibilities are as following:

· Before MS0, main responsibility is to understand the customer needs and draft validation matrix based on all customer, standards and Philips internal requirements.

· From MS0 to MS1, main responsibility is to follow the development team’s status and make sure product is qualified before MS1.

1. Follow the project development status and keep monitoring problem list and maturity grid to open the detailed technical development status to whole project team.

2. Make a detailed test plan according to validation matrix and follow the plan with technical team.

3. Review all the technical report made by development team before MS1. Make decision whether MS1 can be passed from technical point of view. Should be able to say No when product is not qualified.

· From MS1 and MS2, finish the whole validation of new product to make sure production is fully qualified before MS2.

1. Follow all the improvement actions listed at MS1 with the development team.

2. Execute the validation test plan. Analyze the failures together with technical team. Update the maturity grid.

3. Make sure the technical documents finalized with evidence support.

4. Write a full MS2 release report and give input to project team whether MS2 can be passed from technical point of view. Should be able to say No when product is not qualified.

· From MS2 and MS3, QPL is the contact window from technical team for the design problems found during production.

- For buy for resale product project, work as the main contact person with supplier for all technical issues, including managing product design review and product validation, etc. Main internal contact person is Integral project manager. (Similar work to the TPL+QPL in the Philips own developed product project.)

3. JOB REQUIREMENTS岗位要求

Bachelor above

3-5 years in development/quality function at least

Engineering or technical background

1-3 years experience in product development

· Familiar with the quality tools, is able to apply the appropriate statistics to give contents to fact based decision making.

Good communication skills, fluent in English and Mandarin

Independent thinking

Good team player

Be good at self-learning and willing to share
