Product Development Engineer

BU - Appliance Business
Location - Qingdao

Responsibilities
? Mainly focus on customer with related engineering field. Work closely with customer in getting the right and clear VOC (customer requirement), make engineering evaluation/proposal to the VOC in cooperation with cooperate engineering function.
? Develop and maintain good relationship with customer especially their engineering function to ensure the engineering communication is well setup.
? Responsible for product development/extension/maintenance from market definition through.
? Follow up the customer related project implementation at customer side, solve the technical problems to ensure the product release and mass production.
? Technical support to customer, conduct necessary test, engineering analysis.
? Interacts with customers, vendors, marketing and sales personnel, and other engineering areas for working alignment.
? Hands-on try-out in customer side or lab for getting feasible technical proposal, solutions. Demonstrate TE solution with solid samples and prototypes with appliance application.
? Make weekly, monthly report on status with highlights, suggestions, etc. Make summary of the work for management review.
? Provide technical consultancy and advice on TE products for customer and TE marketing and sales.
? Judging manufacturing deviations and make decisions on deviation acceptance
? Work with FAI approvals, Process Capability Study, 8D report and 5 WHY analysis.
? Travel to Shanghai or other location as needed.
