Key Responsibilities
·Sells the company's products or services in the field via our distributor branch network.
·Calls on distributors and prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate customer prices.
·Responsible for meeting assigned sales quota.
·May provide guidance to less experienced salespersons.
·Represents the company to the distributor/customer and the distributor/customer to the company in sales related matters; understanding of customers business and product requirements is necessary.
·Fully knowledgeable about company products.
·Responsible for selling the company’s products or services to and maintaining relationships with existing named accounts.
·Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory.
·Interfaces with appropriate internal departments (engineering, customer service, marketing, operations, purchasing, etc.) as needed.
Main Requirements:
·Drive channel sales at a branch level to ensure territory sales plans are achieved
·In conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager(RSM), develop branch level sales plan
·Implement the channel sales priorities set down by the RSM.
·Maximize penetration and TE share in key accounts.
·Ensure maximum retention and expansion of business transferred into the channel.
·Review NDR/CCR at the branch level
·Drive demand creation-design in activity to the branch level and end customers
·Expand customer account creation within the branch network
·Provide all necessary support to Distributors to make promoting and selling TE product easy
·Lead distributor’s MBR to manage and track performance.
Professional Experience/Qualifications
·Minimum 5 Year Sales Experience preferably in a distribution sales environment
·Degree qualified in Electronics or other similar field
·Good level of written and oral English communication skills
