Senior Engineering Manager

Shanghai BurmingNash Consulting is a leading provider of HR Consulting Services, we provide professional service within the industry and focuses in Shanghai. Now we are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager for Cosmetics and Beauty Products in Shanghai.The position will directly report to the Manufacturing Director and have a Maintenance & Facility team to manage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. The position is accountable for managing projects and coordinating the activities of Engineering in production operations (packaging, processing, and electrical controls) related to the design, development, implementation, and refinement of manufacturing systems for China cosmetics manufacturing facility.

2. Ensure compliance with Environmental Health & Safety for production operations.

3. Utilizes lean principles when specifying equipment or implementing change.

4. Utilizes change control tools. Confers with Quality to assure equipment and facility layouts meet the level 3 facility design.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor diploma/degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Packaging, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical degree, plus.
• 7-10 years of technical engineering management experience in cosmetics, pharmaceutical or food industry.
• Must possess technical knowledge of packaging and processing design and electrical control techniques which apply to both areas of operations.
• Must be able to work independently and refer only decisions regarding capital expenditures, unusual technical or scheduling problems, and budget matters to the management team for approval.
• Must have excellent leadership skills to provide advice and overall technical direction to staff.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with outside engineering firms and suppliers for equipment and engineering services.
• Auto CAD work experience preferred
