Production Manager-Shanghai

Production Manager
Main Responsibilities:
1. Support mid-term and short-term planning processes
2. Support Budget planning, analysis, review and ongoing controlling
3. People Leadership (Target setting and controlling, Performance and Competency Appraisal, Feedback and Recognition, People Placement Planning, People Development, etc.)
4. Execute functional strategies
5. Responsible for setting up and supervising manufacturing facility
6. Drive local processes in support with the Group's guidelines
7. Manage the manufacturing activities to meet customer requirements
8. Provide manufacturing training and guidance to employees
9. Lead production meetings
10. Review product design for compatibility with manufacturing operation capabilities
11. Establish positive relationships with other departments
12. Hire and retain qualified employees
13. Provide training to employees including Total Quality
14. Co-ordinate with the manufacturing organizations of site and corporate
15. Manages the manufacturing operation including: production; machinery and equipment planning and specification; purchasing materiel and planning; facilities planning and maintenance
16. Establish and meet performance measurements (metrics)
17. Drive business processes in support with local and the Group's guidelines,
18. Responsible for KPIs and reporting as required by the Company
Requirement:
1. Above 8 year working experience
2. Bachelor degree and above, major in industrial, manufacturing or mechanical engineering
3. Working knowledge of production operations
4. Strong project manager skill
5. Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to motivate employees
6. Ability to read, write, and speak English
7. Dynamic, self starter with initiative (Ability to function with minimum direction)
8. Willing to learn new skills and willing to teach others
9. Well organized
10. Mature, objective judgment to develop solutions for specific problems
