Role Summary/Purpose
The China Material and Customer Support Leader will lead all activities related to material support and logistic for MSA contracts, warranty service, and parts contracts execution. This role will also lead on time cash collection to deliver business results, ensure ethical business practice with inbound/outbound logistics process, and drive process improvement and cost reduction by using Lean/6-Sigma.
Essential Responsibilities
* Lead material and customer support team to define and execute strategy & processes for material planning, material ordering, material logistic and customer support to meet Service Business needs in China * Drive China region parts sales fulfillment, cash collection, inventory level and logistic costs to meet quarterly financial target * Define, implement and drive metrics/processes to ensure material adequacy on site and provide operation team with visibility on material in transit * Own all logistic processes. Ensure inbound/outbound logistics process, customs clearance and documentation/paperwork meeting Trade Compliance and business EHS requirements * Drive process improvement projects for better service delivery and/or cost reductions by using Lean/6-Sigma * Develop material and customer support team members by sharing the knowledge, expertise and experiences, and build up the leadership pipeline * Seek effective ways to motivate and engage team members, and control unexpected voluntary attritions
Qualifications/Requirements
* B.S. Degree in any discipline* Solid experience in logistics and material planning* Fluent in Chinese and English (verbal and written)* Good clear thinking and good communication skills* Strong quantitative and analytical skills

* Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and motivate team and peers* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization* Knowledge in using Lean/6-Sigma to drive process improvement* Previous experience with Oracle ERP* Experience in rail industry
