Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

* Responsible for WGQ goods inspection. a. Manage WGQ inspection team. Provide training and coach to WGQ inspection team for incoming inspection and LPID inspection. b. Identify non-conformity items. Check and sign off on each non-conformity report. c. Claim defective items to suppliers for credit notes and replacement. d. Drive supplier quality improvement for key quality issues identified in inspection, including open CAR to suppliers, review CAR status, verify improvement result and close CAR at suppliers. e. Report quality KPI including weekly inspection report, PQMT data upload, LPID data collection. * Responsible for refund and corrective actions on defect items from external customer complaints. a. Communicate with PSO engineer and end user on failure mode of defect items. b. Claim defect items to supplier for credit note/replacement. c. Drive preventive and corrective action items from sourcing supplier. d. Provide root cause and corrective action report to PSO and end users.

Qualifications/Requirements

* Bachelor Degree, major in electronic engineering or mechanical engineering is preferred* Above 3 years working experiences in quality or related position* Understanding of quality management system and tools, SPC, Control Level, FMEA. * Knowledge on Breaker and switchgear products.* Proficient using Office tools on quality data analysis.* Good communication skills and team work spirit and able to influence and drive the others for the results. * Good command of English, fluent writing and verbal, be able to communicate with customers and overseas suppliers.* Self-starter and initiative on the improvement actions. * Result oriented and good planner on job priority.
