Role Summary/Purpose

This role will create interest in the market by interacting with key opinion leaders and customers to define leading solutions, ensuring products are designed, developed and delivered in accordance with customer needs. The Marketing Leader will work closely with Product Managers to work with technology partners to ensure our offerings are at the forefront of scientific development and customer need.


Essential Responsibilities

You will plan, coordinate and manage marketing elements for the global product portfolio, including VOC gathering, global marketing plan (CECOR), NPI processes, formulating the value proposition and product lifecycle management.


Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Participate in annual business planning process, including portfolio review and planning in collaboration with Strategic teams and business functions. Contribute to Growth Playbook and support activity of regional/operational marketing teams and ensure alignment with global marketing plan Utilize Gold Standard marketing practices and skills to develop and execute the marketing plan for the Product Segment. Responsibilities include VOC gathering, Marketing Blueprint development and collaboration, segmentation, targeting and positioning to align messaging, tactics, commercial channel tools and execution for success Understanding customer’s scientific and economic needs, as well as values and benefits sought. Prioritizes customer segments and business opportunities and develops business cases in conjunction with strategic marketing, regional product marketing, product leaders and Business Analysis. Develops the global marketing plan (portfolio management, marketing strategy, value proposition, positioning etc.) to grow global orders and share. Ensures regional marketing plans are aligned with the global marketing plan and collaborates with regional marketing on selecting the appropriate marketing mix. Collaborates with the Segment Marketing team to develop and execute global communication and tactical marketing plans. Leads overall direction with the segment marketing team to ensure execution of marketing plans. Drive clear product positioning via the execution of marketing communications plan Expand external focus of the segment marketing and commercial teams via dissemination of research, events, contacts with key opinion leaders etc. Leverage market research and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities Contribute to market forecasts and business case for product/upgrades that are at concept stage and develop price-value map trends




Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field 7+ years experience in marketing, product marketing or related field Marketing experience in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding Healthcare or Life Sciences product/industry acumen Excellent oral and written communications skills Strong analytical and process skills

MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field 10+ years experience in marketing, product marketing or related field Innovation – ability to develop/execute on new ideas through collaboration Strong analytical and process skills Team oriented – ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
