Main Duties:
- Calculation and dimensioning of escalator and moving walk components
- Application of calculation rules according GB and EN codes
- Application of Schindler calculation rules
- Intensive use of ANSYS and MATHCAD tool
- make Das of calculation rules
- generate, structure and document applied calculation rules
- coach tests in test center / external test institutes
- coordinate subprojects with mechanical engineering and external engineer partners
Requirements:
- Graduated from university mechanical engineering, master degree is preferential
- Practical experience of at least 2 years in an industrial engineering department and in a multinational environment preferred
- Operational experience in the escalator business preferred
- Excellent technical engineering know how with focus on calculation and dimensioning of mechanical components
- Practice and knowledge to operate ANSYS and MATHCAD software
- Ability to work with people from different cultures
- Advanced English level
- Familiar with Auto CAD, Inventor, MS Office
