BASIC FUNCTIONS
Within delegated responsibility and authority of the Project Sales Manager -East region, National Project team, maintain a close relationship with key architectural and design firms and coordinate our sales efforts in assigned area. Partner with these global firms to introduce The company brand, get it specified, and grow our business in assigned area.
Specific Responsibilities
? Establish and maintain regular contact with key global / local architectural and design firms to introduce new products, assist in selecting product, writing proposals within assigned area
? Be the liaison between our global architect/designer customers and our own sales force regionally
? Be an expert in international design trends and specification
? Build trust and rapport with international and local clients to create economic partnership
? Displace competitors' product and make The company brands the primary choice of these global design firms
? Research key firms and secure meetings with each office to analyze their business
? Build personal relationships and build trust with principals and key designers
? Recommend how to support the clients' needs while increasing our sales potential
? Establish relationships within The company Co.'s international divisions and work together to ensure our clients get world class service and support
? Understand The company China strategy and contribute to our growth
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
? Direct report to the Project Sales Manager -East region, National Project team, The company China, dotted report to Area Sales Manager - South Jiangsu
? Frequent contact with sales management and individual sales reps whose territories the jobs are located
? Work closely with key clients, architects/designers
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelor's degree or above in architectural or design
? At least 3 years working experience in architectural and design firms
? Sales or marketing working experience is preferred
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, conversant in working cross-culturally
? Self driven, self disciplined, and goal-oriented
? Possess/acquire excellent product knowledge and be able to speak in the language of international caliber designers
? Willing to travel
