职位描述
Function:
This position is responsible for creating and driving various initiatives in area of Cost, Capacity, Sustainability and Quality with regional manufacturing team. Role directly report Pacific Manufacturing Leader and involves working closely with various Mfg teams located at various plants.
Details of responsibility includes:
- Build and sustain Cost productivity process, deliver on agreed commitments on various productivity projects.
- Lead Pacific network team of process improvement resources for idea generation, translations and best practice sharing.
- Create and lead various internal and external benchmarking efforts and create dashboards providing visibility to Material usage, Energy intensity, resource productivity.
- Generate and evaluate various investment projects for productivity and follow through the execution of same.
- Establish Capacity performance dashboard to reflect various drivers for capacity including Change Over Time, Unplanned Equipment down time, production rate, lot sizes, product mix. Use OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) metric to create visibility to opportunity for capacity creations through improvement projects.
- Coordinate capacity optimization efforts to drive cost and service. Establish product capability plan at each site to drive optimization
- Participate in various forums and global discussions to represent Asia Pacific Manufacturing on sustainability initiative. Drive various strategic initiatives on GHG, Electricity, Water and waste reduction. Establish clear visibility of improvement by creating solid pipeline of projects for improvements.
- Represent Asia Pacific in cross poles discussion on major business initiatives
- Work closely with finance team for developing operating plan and longer range plans for manufacturing. Establish key improvement plan and KPIs for manufacturing team.
Qualification:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 8-10 years experience in Manufacturing. Minimum 3 years experience in driving manufacturing excellence.
Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated influencing skills and ability to drive change. Good acumen on analytics and basic finance knowledge. Certified Black Belt experience preferred.
